Jim's Review

🐛
Jim has read a lot of memoirs, and this one left him stunned. Walls tells the most heartbreaking childhood story imaginable with zero bitterness and somehow makes you understand — not forgive, but understand — her parents. The scene where three-year-old Jeannette catches fire cooking hot dogs alone? Jim nearly fell off his leaf. Four worms for raw honesty that hits like a freight train.
