Jim's Review
🐛
Jim doesn't have a spine (literally, he's a worm), but this book still hit him right in the feelings. Van der Kolk makes a powerful case that trauma lives in the body, not just the mind, and the treatment approaches he covers are genuinely hopeful. It's heavy reading, but Jim came out the other side feeling like he understood humans a whole lot better. Five worms — essential reading.
