Jim's Review
🐛
Jim was absolutely electrified by this book — the Yoruba-inspired magic system is unlike anything else on the shelf. Adeyemi writes action sequences that had Jim wriggling with excitement and emotional beats that left him gutted. Zelie is a force of nature. The worldbuilding is lush and the stakes are enormous. Four thundering worms.
